Many proclaim the wonder and intelligence of evolution. Somehow human beings, they assert, just came to be. They heedlessly accept that 100 trillion+ cells simply come together after just one of more than 300 million sperm cells successfully navigate the equivalent of a 10-mile swim through a very hostile environment to locate one specific cell...the egg. The male sperm, among the smallest human cells, merges with one of the largest cells (the egg) causing conception. Joineing together in this process, they produce a DNA module that is self-reproducing, error-correcting, and accompanied by a repairer protein module replacing any missing elements and repairing any faulty parts. For your information, if just the DNA in all your cells were strung together, they would reach the moon and back more than 1,000 times. This does not includet the extra 1,000 trillion of RNA in the mix. All this from one egg and one sperm cell~ 400 million of which would fit on the head of a pin!
The now fertilized egg is the size of a pin head and contains some six billion chemical letters, enough information to fill more than 1,000 books of 500 pages each, with print so small it would require a microscope to read it. Dr. Jerry Bergman says, “If all the chemical letters in the human body were printed in books, it is estimated they would fill the Grand Canyon fifty times.” Isn’t evolution wonderful?! It’s almost enough to make one worship, and apparently some do...they exchanged the truth of God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator. (Romans 1:25 AMP)

The Moon is in a stable orbit, as is the sun. Mars, Mercury, Venus,Jupiter, and Uranus are all in unchanging orbits. Consider the earth... it is in a perfect unchanging orbit at the precise distance from the sun to sustain life. It rotates around the sun at 67,000 miles per hour, turns on its axis at precisely 23.5 degrees from vertical (which allows for our seasons), and spins at 1,038 miles per hour, whuich is the source of our 24-hour day. All these remain where they just happened to stop by accident?! They just happened to stop there?!
The eight planets in our solar system are arranged in such a manner that earth, the smallest planet, is protected from comets by the largest planet, Jupiter. It is also protected from radiation by the Van Allen Belt, a “belt” of energy-charged particles held in place by earth’s magnetic field,t preventING life on earth from being annihilated BY radiation from outer space. Gravity stopped the planets and holds this belt in place? Well, where did gravity come from? Who established the law of gravity?
Unfortunately even those who believe that there must be a God must reduce that God to a size they can comprehend. As wonderful as our minds are in their natural state, they lack the capacity to comprehend how just one of the smaller galaxies (only 100 billion stars) can be 100,000 light years in circumference. Think about this for a moment ~ a light year is the distance of about six trillion miles, so our small galaxy, the Milky Way, is 100,000 times six trillion! One hundred billion stars resulting from a random explosion just evolved into their present state and somehow they are all up there not crashing into each other willy-nilly? Could this require a Designer?
No, we cannot ask that because it puts us into the position of having to come up with some One or some Thing with the intelligence to design this and keep it all functioning. According to the latest scientific theories, the cosmos exists and continues to function almost as if someone designed it.
Again, could there just possibly exist a Being of such awesome magnitude that we lack words to describe It, or the intellect to even begin to comprehend It? We use “big” when talking about hundreds of billions of light years, each about six trillion miles (5.88 to be exact) in length. Are there words to describe the indescribable? How do we intelligently discuss this intricately designed system that supposedly came into being on its own and has existed “for billions of years?”
And how do we even begin to grasp the concept of an endless eternity? Can even GOD be that big?
